Production automation drives Nantai Electronics "double promotion"

Last month, Nantai Electronics supplied 600000 electronic components to Xiaomi. In the past, this batch of orders took two months to complete production, but now it only takes one month to complete. All this is due to the increasing automation of production.

"This year, our orders have increased from last year." Mo Jinmeng, director of Nantai Electronics, said that at the beginning of this year, six production lines of Nantai Electronics realized automatic production, and the output was greatly increased.

Electronic production companies were labor-intensive enterprises, most electronic factories rely mainly on a large number of workers to operate manually. In recent years, production intelligence and automation have continuously affected or changed the status quo of electronic production enterprises. Nantai Electronics has followed the trend and implemented automation transformation on the production line.

At the end of 2017, Nantai Electronics began to build automated production lines, successively invested more than 700 million yuan, purchased more than 20 sets of automatic production and testing equipment, and built three automated production lines. These three automatic production lines were officially put into operation in early 2018, realizing the integrated operation of electronic components, including gluing, winding, soldering and electric glue, and realizing the automatic inspection of product quality. In 2018, Nantai Electronics produced more than 8000 million electronic components.

The use of automated production lines has changed the history of Nantai Electronics using a large number of employees. After the realization of automated production, one person can guard the automated production of 12 machines, which not only greatly reduces labor costs, product standards are more unified, and quality is more controllable.

"The qualified rate of products has increased from 95% to 98%." Mo Jinmeng said that after the production line is automated, the product has won the trust of customers.

Seeing the benefits of automated production, Nantai Electronics decided to build three more automated production lines. At the beginning of this year, three production lines at the back end of Nantai Electronics realized automated production. Since then, the entire production process of Nantai Electronics has been automated.

After automated production, Nantai Electronics will save manpower into fine management, engaged in product screening, re-inspection, packaging and other work.

"Now we not only work easily, but also improve our income." Jiang Lijie, an employee of Nantai Electronics, said that the factory will use part of the new profits after automated production to increase employees' wages, and employees' enthusiasm for production is higher than before.
 

Quality and output have been guaranteed. Nantai Electronics has actively expanded its sales, and orders have poured in. Huawei, Foxconn, Xiaomi, Amazon and other companies have become Nantai Electronics's main customers.

"In the first quarter of this year, the output value reached more than 2000 million yuan, an increase of 14% over the same period last year." Fan Zhonghua, chief financial officer of Nantai Electronics, said that this year's output value is the fastest year since Nantai Electronics was established. According to the output value estimate, this year's sales will increase by about 8 million yuan compared with last year.
